4-H Voyagers in Space

In an effort to positively influence all students and immerse them in modern technology, this program provides a study of aeronautics and space travel. It includes studies in engineering, design, physics, astronomy, and geography. It will provide exposure to technology utilized by the Kentucky Air National Guard and NASA via visits to the 123rd Air Guard Base and Space Camp in Huntsville, AL. The goal is to encourage all 4-Hers involved, especially the girls, to realize the importance that technology plays in air and space travel, the careers available in these fields, and improve their knowledge of sciences.
