4Change

4Change is a collaboration of four leading professional societies: the American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES), the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) and the Society of Women Engineers (SWE).

Created with funding from the National Science Foundation (grant HRD0937306), 4Change is designed to make engineering a possibility for girls of all races and ethnicities. Specifically, we are working to increase the outreach capacity and effectiveness among the staff and volunteers of professional engineering societies in reaching girls.

Our four societies believe that together with every professional engineering society, we can all build and deliver inclusive engineering outreach programs that inspire all girls to follow their dreams.
