AAUW/WR Wet and Wild

Bring your swimsuit! We are going sailing, canoeing and getting a water ski lesson from the Wisconsin Rapids Aqua-Skiers! Ever wonder about the science behind these water activities? While having fun participating in these activities, we are also going to learn the science behind them! Local women who are in math and science careers are going to hang out with us and explain how these activities work. Thinking of being a marine biologist when you grow up? We are also going to do activities out of the new Making Waves Studio 2B charm! And, we will investigate pond life when we use microscopes in Lake Tapawingo! After all these strenuous activities, we'll let you relax in a lazy river at a water park!
