Adventure Girls

Adventure Girls is a unique program for girls in grades 2- 6 that connects girls to daring women who defy gender stereotypes and pursue their passions despite what society says a good girl or woman “should” do or be. Adventure Girls brings together girls, college student mentors and women facilitators one Saturday a month to learn how women mountaineers, race car drivers, boat captains, lobster fishers, wilderness guides, and more choose to do what they do, how they deal with gender stereotypes, where and from whom they find support and, most of all, how they find the inner resolve and courage to follow their dreams.
