After School Science Classes

Children's Choice is dedicated to introducing girls to science through after school classes. Our unique vantage point allows us to introduce girls to professional scientists who are also women. A key for girls to see themselves as future scientists is for them to envision themselves that way. When they have a femal role model as a scientist, they can do this easier. We also make science fun and exciting for all students, encouraging girls to register for our no-cost after school classes and sparking that interest that will last a lifetime.

Children's Choice collaborates with Sandia National Labs, the ABQ Zoo, Explora (the local children's science museum) and New Mexico PBS to bring unique and novel science enrichment straight to schools and students who need it the most.
