AIA K-12 Initiatives

K-12 initiatives build relationships between chapters, members, and allied and educational partners. By supporting and developing architecture and design programs, AIA seeks to:

1)  Inspire youth to learn about the power of design.

2)  Motivate youth to understand the impacts of design.

3)  Nourish youth's curiosity to engage in solving grand challenges with design thinking.

4)  Connect with mentors and advocates who can help students become architects.

5)  Create resources for architects and educators to support students' interest in architecture.
