Amelia's Aero Club

Amelia’s Aero Club (AAC) is a program based at The Museum of Flight for middle-school girls (grades 6-8) which consists of an interactive online environment and a series of activity-based gatherings. AAC inspires and nurtures middle school girls’ exploration of educational and career pathways in STEA2M by providing them opportunities to:

Build confidence in their abilities and strengthen their voice, Build relationships with peers and adult mentors interested in STEA2M explorations, Develop their leadership and project management skills, Participate in activities related to Science, Technology, Engineering, Aviation, Art, and Mathematics (STEA2M) and the legacy of Amelia Earhart.

AAC members are supported by women volunteers from STEA2M fields who serve as club mentors and interact with the girls in a variety of formats including:

Online guest mentor chats, Site-based presentations, Project presentation review panels, Special event hosting,
