American Society of Civil Engineers - LA YMF

The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Los Angeles Younger Member Forum (LA YMF) provides an opportunity for young civil engineers to interact with the civil engineering community and get involved in ASCE early in their careers. The official age range is 35 and younger, but we welcome those that are young at heart. Our goal is to capture the enthusiasm we all had as college students and build a coalition of successful young engineers.

LA YMF allows young engineers to give back to our communities by providing volunteer opportunities throughout the LA area.  We promote math, science, and engineering by hosting science competitions such as the Annual Popsicle Stick Bridge Contest for high school students, visiting K-12 classrooms with fun, hands-on activities, and speaking at career/college fairs.  If you are interested in partnering with us for an event, please contact us!
