Arizona Historical Society Science Education Program

Because the Arizona Historical Society is the steward of artifact and natural history collections, educational programming concentrates on demonstrating the interconnectedness of social studies and science in the background upon which the ecosystems and cultures of Arizona are built. We've found that students connect with science when they can relate concepts to personal experiences. The goal of our educational programming is to help students, teachers, and the general public create these connections by providing local examples of scientific principles, events, and industries.
