Ashland AAUW - STEM Committee

The Ashland Branch of AAUW is in the process of establishing two programs:

1) An Empower Lunch - a luncheon for selected high school freshman and sophomore girls who are seriously interested in science and successful women working in scientific fields.

2) An as yet unnamed science club for middle school girls using the Cricket curriculum.

We are affiliating ourselves with the Scienceworks Museum in Ashland, Oregon, for these programs. Scienceworks provides hands-on scientific experiences for children of all ages. They will be applying to be part of the directory as well. We are asking to be part of the directory, at this time, in order to apply for grants for these projects.
