Astronomy Research in Earth + Science (ARES)

Chesterbrook has established an Astronomy Research in Earth and Science (ARES) program to ignite the rocket engine of passion for math and science at the earliest stage of learning.

Through the ARES program, students will be exposed to all aspects of space exploration. Some of the most enduring benefits of America's interest in astronomy are the continuing impacts it makes on students.

The ARES program at Chesterbrook Elementary will stimulate their imagination, excite their quest for knowledge, and potentially motivate the students to become the scientists and engineers that will help lead America's return to the Moon and beyond. America's Space program has paid huge dividends for our nation's educational system, the economy, and our nation's security.

Chesterbrook Elementary is proud to partner with ATK to assist in:

Increasing the student's awareness in math and science, Encouraging students to develop positive perspectives in learning, Expanding the student's curiosity in science and technology, Increasing the student's commitment to learning, Because kids have a natural curiosity about the universe and when they personally participate actively in hands-on science and technology learning, they see, hear, feel and interact with all of their senses, they will remember and learn for life.

The ARES program at Chesterbrook Elementary will provide students with the opportunity to succeed!
