Atlanta Center for Creative Inquiry Summer Academy

The Atlanta Center for Creative Inquiry, Inc., is an educational non-profit organization started in 2004 that is dedicated to the education of inner city high school youth through development of their creativity and design abilities. The Atlanta Center for Creative Inquiry was started as an after school demonstration project of the STUDIO of Creative Inquiry at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA., and through partnerships with the Atlanta Public Schools, Georgia Tech University, Southern Polytechnic University and American Institute of Architects, has taught over 200 students from entire Atlanta metropolitan area. In 2015, ACCI transformed from a full year-round education initiative to a one-week Summer Academy that introduces and prepares students to be successful in all of the design professions. The ACCI Summer Academies are taught in an college environment at Georgia Tech University College of Design and Kennesaw State University College of Architecture and Construction Management.
