Auburn Association of Women in Science

The Auburn Chapter of the Association of Women in Science (AWIS) sponsors programs to encourage women and girls to participate more in science. Auburn University women volunteer with many of the Outreach programs sponsored by the Auburn University College of Science and Math held at Auburn university including YES! camps, Leading interest in Females Exceptional in Science - (LIFE in Science)

Getting Under the Surface - (GUTS and GUTS goes Girly), AU Explore!, Daughters and Mothers Experimenting in Science (DAMES), and their own program for Drake Middle School - Leading Auburn in Developing Interest in Experimental Science (LADIES). LIFE is a week-long summer program on campus. GUTS and DAMES are afternoon or evening programs on campus. YES! camps are Saturday activities for families.
