Aztec Science Camps

Aztec Science Camps are one week day camps at San Diego State University that expose kids to science and develops their curiosity about the world around them. “For most students, a hands-on learning experience is the most effective way to learn science. It’s what gets them really excited, involved and asking questions,” Co-Camp Creator Dr. Ross said.

Students participating in this program will explore science content aligned with the Disciplinary Core Ideas. They will also engage in NGSS Science and Engineering Practices as they plan and conduct investigations. 2015 sessions are: Mission Impossible, Nature Detectives, Aztec Crime Lab and Imagineering,
