Clatsop Girls United: A Girls Summit

This is a county-wide, one day project for 150 girls in grades 4-8 held at Clatsop Community College (Oregon) and sponsored by the college, Astoria Schools, and the Seaside branch of AAUW. Hands-on activities include a chemistry experiment, fencing, composting and several STEM presenters. The goal of the project is to motivate girls to become strong independent learners with an emphasis on STEM-related professions.
