Girl Scouts Code - Hackathon

Got a problem? Design an app!, This one-day hackathon will begin with a keynote speaker who will inspire girls to become software engineers for the day. Girls will work in teams of 3-4 with a mentor from a national charity, who will make a presentation to them about the work and needs of her charity. Then together they will create an app that addresses those needs or solves a particular problem. The day will conclude with presentations from the teams, in which they showcase their solutions and teamwork structure. Each group of girls will work with a different charity, making the final presentations varied and interesting.
