Girls Quest Camp

The Girls Quest Camp program is a week-long day camp dedicated to getting girls excited about science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) and exposing them to a wide variety of possible STEM careers. Each day includes lab experiments at The Health Adventure museum and field trips to visit female scientists at work in the local community. Sample labs include robotics design, water quality, DNA extraction, and disease transmission. Sample field trips include an animal hospital, a microbiology lab, and the University of North Carolina Asheville Mechatronics lab.
