Mathematician-In-Residency

By supporting teachers in developing their math practice, the Mathematician-In-Residence (MIR) Pilot aims to create a fun and engaging classroom environment — positively impacting student achievement in math. A bonus: MIRs help develop teachers’ resources and enthusiasm for teaching math in the process! This program consists of semester-long residencies with grade bands which take place over the course of two school years. This allows MIRs to reach every K-3rd grade classroom in order to build a sustainable culture of professional development.
