The Writers Block®

The Writer’s Block™ is the brainchild of The Garner Group, Inc. designed to be an extended day program that can migrate into the classroom.

It is an eight to 12-week, 1-hour after school class or 3 hour once-a-week workshop where students will be the journalists, photographers, writers, reporters and designers of an e-mag publication.

The students will work with instructors and mentors/role models, who have various areas of expertise, to learn how to research and develop in-depth questions, conduct an interview and journal the research and interview material they obtain.   They will also gain experience in illustration, design and photography.
